After graduating college, Paul Mampilly began his career on American’s most famous business district, Wall Street. This was in 199i and where he began to learn about and gain experience with portfolio management working for Bankers Trust. His work experience for these corporations caused him to advance quickly in his finance career. He then was promoted to working for legal firms ING and Deutsche Bank and ING. These companies gave him the experience of managing accounts with multimillion dollar balances.

In 2006, Paul Mampilly was recruited by a six billion dollar company. Kinetics Asset Management hired the investor to oversee their hedge fund accounts. Being a leader for this company, he had a lot of responsibility and was able to cause the company to increase their assets to around twenty five billion dollars. This garnered the asset management firm a lot of attention and the title of being one of the best hedge funds for the exceptional returns Paul was able to gain for the company. He was even able to maintain his company’s assist through the financial crisis of the late 2000s.

While Paul Mampilly was able to return millions and in sometimes billions of dollars for these major Wall Street corporations, he did grow tired of Wall Street’s demand and pace.
